*Overview*
Founded in 1887, Dignity Health - California Hospital Medical Center is a 318-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in downtown Los Angeles, California. Serving over 70,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, heart care, women’s health, and a family birth center. In 2025, we opened our new patient tower, Grand Tower, featuring a dramatically expanded Emergency Department and Family Birth Center that will increase patient comfort and privacy.
Additionally, California Hospital Medical Center has been recognized as an LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality Leader by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. It is a Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center, and recently was awarded the AMA/ASA’s Get the Guidelines - Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement, recognizing the hospital’s commitment to providing the best stroke care.

*Responsibilities*
All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization. The person doing this job is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost-effective manner. Responsible for radiographic examinations utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment. Provides direct patient care to patients of all ages. Contributes to the efficient operation of the department ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care. Performs all general radiographic procedures. Performs all general radiographic portable c-arm procedures. Performs all general radiographic portables and c-arm procedures in surgery. Performs other duties as assigned. Participate in on-call assignments
*Qualifications*
- Graduate from AMA approved school of radiology technology.
- Associates degree preferred.
- Certification by the California Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CRT)
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Fluoroscopy and BLS certifications required
