Certifications Required:

Certified Professional Coder (CPC) - Must

Certified Outpatient Coder (COC)

Certified Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular Coder (CIRCC)

Certification must be maintained as Active.

Required Skills:

• 1+ Years of experience in Radiology Coding.
• Candidate would be well rounded in and have extensive knowledge and understanding of Radiology medical coding guidelines.
• Good exposure in MIPS (Merit-based Incentive Payment System) & Contrast.
• Expertise in Coding Diagnostic Radiology, Diagnostic Ultrasounds, Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Fluoroscopy and Breast Mammography.
• Experience in coding tools like 3M and Encoder Pro application.
• Experience with coding in Epic & Cerner and auto coding tools.
• Assign appropriate diagnosis codes using ICD-10-CM code book in the Radiology charts.
• Exceeds the productivity standards for Radiology Coding 500 charts per day with a minimum of 96% accuracy and as per turnaround time requirements.
• Expertise in CPT-4, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
• Has strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
