Summary
Location: Lutherville (1734 York Road)
Shift: Saturdays/Sundays 8am - 4:30 pm
The Rad Tech A functions as a staff radiologic technologist, performing all radiologic exams in the Orthopedic practices, provides Medical Assistant clinical support as well as administrative & clinical support throughout the office as needed, while providing the highest quality of care to all patients on a daily basis. Must be willing to perform job standards and provide excellent customer service to staff, patients and visitors in a manner consistent with Mercy Medical Centers' Service Excellence Standards, Mission and Values.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED
- Must be a registered technologist from an accredited school of Radiology
- Orthopedic x-ray experience preferred
License Requirements
- Radiology technologist license in the State of Maryland
Certification Requirements
- CPR Certification
- ARRT Certification

- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following:
⚬ Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel

⚬ Meditech (if applicable to position)
⚬ Epic (if applicable to position)
⚬ Performance Manager/NetLearning
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
- Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
- Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
Other Requirements
- Must possess skills in taking and developing x-rays
- Must be willing to work beyond normal hours of operation and in other positions when necessary
