Job Title: Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Engineer to evaluate and manage, RFID and IoT hardware and contribute to the implementation of innovative projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless RFID and IoT hardware functionality, evaluating hardware performance, preparing testing, survey and implementation documentation and supporting RFID and IoT infrastructure deployments. Additional responsibilities will include monitoring RFID and IoT industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies and obtaining related RFID, IoT and hardware certifications.

Requirements include:

• 1–3 years of experience working with RFID/IoT technology, networking, or hardware.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including interaction with clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Strong writing skills for developing hardware evaluations and facility surveys.
• Basic electrical wiring skills for interconnecting hardware components
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Willingness to travel.
• Must be available to work from RFID Global HQ Reston VA
