Role: RF Design Engineer (Front End Design)

Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
1. Design and simulate RF circuits, components, and systems (e.g., amplifiers, filters, switches, antennas)
2. Develop and optimize front-end architectures for wireless communication systems
3. Create and verify RF block diagrams, schematics, and layout designs
Simulation and Analysis:
1. Perform electromagnetic (EM) simulations using tools like HFSS, CST, or ADS
2. Analyse RF circuit performance using SPICE or other circuit simulators
3. Run simulations to optimize RF design parameters
RF Test Equipment:
1. Spectrum analysers (e.g., Rohde & Schwarz, Agilent)
2. Network analyser’s (e.g., Vector Network Analyser’s, Scalar Network analysers)
3. Signal Generators (e.g., RF signal generators, arbitrary waveform generators)
4. Oscilloscopes (e.g., digital phosphor oscilloscopes, mixed-signal oscilloscopes)
5. Vector Network analysers (VNAs)
6. Power Meters
Frequency Counters Testing and Validation:
1. Collaborate with test engineers to develop test plans and procedures
2. Conduct RF measurements and testing (e.g., S-parameters, gain, noise figure)
3. Validate design performance against specifications
Collaboration and Documentation:
1. Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., digital, systems, software)
2. Create and maintain detailed design documentation (e.g., datasheets, application notes)
3. Present design reviews and updates to stakeholders
Technical Skills:
1. RF circuit design and simulation tools (e.g., ADS, HFSS, CST)
2. EM simulation software (e.g., HFSS, CST)
3. Familiarity with wireless communication standards (e.g., 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi)
Validation Scope:
1. GNSS receivers (GPS/GLONASS/BEIDOU/GAL)
2. WWAN transceivers (LTE TDD-FDD/TDS/WCDMA/CDMA/GSM)
3. RF Front-end components (e.g., LNA, filters, switches)
Hardware Design Engineer Key Skills: High Speed Board Design, Memory Interfaces, Microprocessor & SOC ( Relevant Experience 3 -4 Years) DDR, Microcontroller.
