Are you a dynamic, organized, and adaptable entertainment professional based in the Bay Area? If so, you might have what it takes to join America’s greatest live quizmaster team: The hosts of The Big Quiz Thing, the country’s premier providers of private and corporate trivia game shows. We’re looking for a talented quizmaster to bring their own spark to our high-energy, team-building events, both virtually and in-person throughout the San Francisco region (and beyond; travel is often called for with advance notice). What We're Looking For:

 — Experience hosting and/or producing corporate events: We’re all about keeping big shots laughing and smiling, so it helps to be comfortable in their world.

— An organized, responsible, and detail-oriented approach to show business: Our clients expect a professional event, so we demand professionalism from our hosts.

— Strong stage presence and improv skills: More than a bar-trivia question reader, our hosts are true performers. And they know how to keep things moving when challenges creep in. So we’re looking for you to bring personality, presence, and the ability to roll with the unexpected.

— A flexible schedule: The commitment is intermittent, with plenty of room to grow. And we’ll work with you to get the most out of your hosting experience.

— Basic but dependable tech supplies: A reliable laptop, quality mike, good lighting, a solid at-home virtual-events setup, and a stable internet connection (at least 200 Mbps down/20 Mbps up minimum) are essential. We will provide tech support when needed. 

Nice to Have:

— A passion for trivia, games, or puzzles.

— A good sense of humor and the ability to think on your feet.

— A friend/colleague to handle event scoring/assistance.

 Compensation:

— Payment is a percentage of the booking fees for each event you host, with a minimum of $200 per event.

— Performance-based incentives include the opportunity to earn tips and a year-end bonus.
