A well established civil engineering and groundwork's sub-contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the Munster area. This is a permanent role working on a range of residential and commercial projects across the area.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor and manage project budgets and the tendering process
• Manage all subcontract valuations, site measures and payment submissions
• Manage the preparation of tenders and commercial negotiations with contractors
• Identify and manage commercial risks, extra works etc on project works
• Liaise with clients and contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Provide accurate and timely project reporting on tenders submitted and bid management

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a QS role, ideally in the civil engineering or groundworks field
• Strong understanding of contract administration and commercial processes
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, self motivated with self starter attitude
• Full driving licence
