About our Team: Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality software products and enhancing customer experiences. Workload on the SFM business as usual squad requires additional expertise specifically using the
Salesforce platform. Utilizing our established quality gates, tools, and best practices we deliver high quality and low defect applications to our end customers. The main purpose of this team is to support our own Salesforce internal sales and support teams to enable them to provide a better service to their external customers.
About the Role:
The Quality Test Engineer II position is pivotal in ensuring top-quality software products and services. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys contributing to innovative solutions. Our focus is automation testing over manual testing for the value and efficiently it adds, and we are open to train new hires in this area who show potential.
Key Responsibilities: - Create and execute manual tests of regression, functional and end-to-end as required.
- Complete assigned tasks in alignment with sprint durations; taking ownership of your workload.
- Attend and participate in regular meetings on squad, team and business unit levels.
- Work in collaboration with technical and non-technical team members.
Mandatory Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in quality engineering utilizing the Salesforce platform.
- Hands-on experience with manual functional testing.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Understanding of quality engineering methodology and best practices.
- Ability to communicate technical and non-technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience using chat-based collaboration tools such as MS Teams, SLACK or similar.
- Awareness of the role of testing in both the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Exposure to Atlassian products such as JIRA (work items) and Confluence (documentation) or similar.
- Aptitude for self-learning; taking advantage of the training tools we provide.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies and ceremonies.
- Interest in automation testing technology
