Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying defects, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and tests on products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
- Assist in root cause analysis for defects and non-conformities, and support process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements in all quality-related activities.
- Utilize statistical analysis and quality tools to drive improvements in manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Quality Technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of PCB, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control processes.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools used in quality assurance.
- Experience with ISO standards, Six Sigma methodologies, and lean manufacturing principles is preferred.
- Ability to perform statistical analysis and risk management assessments.
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to quality improvement.
