Seeking: Quality Technician or Quality Engineer I, Full Time, On Site
Quality Technician Responsibilities:
· Manage shipping and receiving of electronic components and printed circuit boards.
· Inspect goods or products according to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
· Develop, write and maintain company inspection reports.
· Work to create tools to better manage inventory goods and information.
· Collect, compile, and analyze On Time Delivery (OTD) data, generating regular quality reports for management review.
· Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements. Develop and implement corrective action plans based on audit findings.
· Collaborate and interface with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards for incoming materials and On Time Delivery.
· Contribute to cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance process quality and efficiency.
· Maintain comprehensive documentation of work instructions, quality control procedures and best practices for each component type.
· Investigate and identify root causes of quality issues, defects, and non-conformities. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
· Minor compliance tasks to support Calibration, ESD, FOD, and Hazardous Material requirements.
Quality Technician Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED
· Basic understanding of electronics
· Understanding of basic mathematical concepts
· Advanced organizational skills
· Ability to work alone with minimal supervision
· Able to use data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement efforts
· Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving and maintaining high-quality standards.
· Position requires 90% on-site attendance
Preferred Skills
· 2+ years’ experience as an inspection or quality technician or related field
· Experience with database management
· Advanced Excel skills
· Technical writing skills
· Exposure to CAD or other technical blueprints or drawings
