This position supports quality, technical, and safety audits for contractor and supplier site assessments, as well as internal audits, including planning, resource coordination, evidence collection, report writing, and problem investigation. It also assists in resolving ILA quality issues and supports regional quality assurance activities for ILMEX and ILSA.

Purpose Of This Position
The purpose of this position is to support the planning, coordination, and execution of quality, technical, and safety audits for contractor and supplier site assessments, ensuring adherence to high standards and continuous improvement. This role also assists in resolving quality issues, supporting regional quality assurance activities for ILMEX and ILSA, and fostering strong relationships with suppliers to improve their quality systems and performance. Additionally, the position plays a key role in maintaining ILA’s quality system through internal audits, safety audits, and troubleshooting efforts.
Key Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing supplier assessments and audits to ensure consistency, professionalism, and high-quality results.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation, including assessment reports and supplier database records, to meet stakeholder requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers to enhance their quality systems, processes, and performance, while supporting root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
- Participate in ILA's IATF quality system improvement efforts, including internal audits, training, and ongoing education initiatives.
- Support internal safety and environmental audits, including spot checks and assisting in troubleshooting production and distribution issues. What You’ll Need to Succeed as A Sales Customer Support Specialist
Qualifications/Company Information
What You’ll Need to Succeed as the Quality Systems Auditor and Coordinator
- Strong educational background with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related science field.
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience in advanced industries (automotive, aerospace, pharmaceuticals) and 1-4 years of auditing experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office, document management software (SharePoint), and email platforms (Outlook), with strong overall PC skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Leadership skills, including the ability to make informed decisions and work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), and supplier quality management, with experience using quality control tools like FMEAs, Control Plans, and APQP.
