Job Summary
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process, and final products.
- Read prints and drawings to determine critical measurements.
- Understand procedures and apply accept/reject criteria to the inspection results.
- Identify and document defects or deviations from specifications.
- Prepare inspection reports and communicate findings to relevant teams.
- Maintain detailed records of inspection results and findings.
- Generate NCMR for nonconforming material including reporting, tracking and communicating to relevant teams.
- Take particle counts in Cleanroom and other areas.
- Interface with production, engineering and management to communicate issues that arise during inspection.
- Adherence to company standards and industry regulations.

Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Experienced in using Optical Microscope, Digital Microscope, CMM and other tools used for inspection.
- Experienced in FAI (First Article Inspection) and AQL sampling plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially in Excel).
- 2+ years of experience at performing incoming inspection (IQA) on raw materials (wafers, pcb/pcba, components, mechanical parts, etc.) and outgoing inspection (OQA) on completed assemblies (modules).
- 2+ years in a high-tech environment.
- Able to understand instructions and follow direction with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma, Associate degree a plus
- Certified in IPC a plus
