indie is empowering the automotive revolution with next generation automotive semiconductors and software platforms. We focus on edge sensors spanning multiple modalities including LiDAR, radar, ultrasound and vision for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomous vehicles, connected car, user experience and electrification applications.
We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Manager with a technical background to join our Photonics team in Switzerland on a full-time or near full-time basis (80% - 100%) to lead and support quality management initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
- Ensure effective and efficient ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Drive initiatives, to improve on agreed aspects of Quality and operational excellence and performance in close collaboration with the departments.
- Continuously identify and addresses risks and opportunities related to the organization and its Quality Management.
- Perform supplier audits and internal audits.
- Training and monitoring of personnel.
- Run environmental compliance program (RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals).
- Represent quality assurance in internal / external teams.
- Certification of new opto-electronic subsystems (CE, EMC, ELS, laser safety).
- Support opto-electronics products line.
- Engage in product engineering tasks.
- Report to Management.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role, preferable within semiconductor industry.
- SAQ-Qualicon Quality Management or similar Quality education.
- Technical/engineering/manufacturing background or experience, ideally in electronics.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in English.
- Willingness to travel ~10% internationally.
