Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Manager to bring their expertise, experience, and passion for manufacturing quality programs to our team. The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all company products meet company expectations for quality by implementing an internal quality program for beMatrix USA. This role includes working closely with the Global Quality Team and the USA Manufacturing team to create, implement, and audit quality processes throughout the production value stream. It also involves performing root cause analysis when quality issues arise, both internally and externally, and helping to develop a strong quality culture within the organization.

The Quality Manager’s responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including quality control and inspection of raw materials and final products, developing and implementing quality control processes and standards, maintaining and continuously improving quality standards, recording and reporting quality issues and improvement opportunities, and collaborating with the management team to set quality benchmarks and goals.

Quality Control Oversight

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and standards that align with industry best practices and company objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure compliance with established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify areas for process improvement and work with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  
  
  

Inspection and Testing

• Plan and execute regular inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products/services to verify conformity to specifications.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to establish testing protocols and ensure accurate and consistent test results.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of inspection and testing activities for documentation and reference purposes.
  
  
  

Quality Documentation

• Develop, review, and update quality control documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality manuals, and work instructions.
• Ensure that quality documentation is accessible to relevant personnel and consistently followed in day-to-day operations.
  
  
  

Supplier and Vendor Collaboration

• Collaborate with procurement Specialist and inventory specialist to establish quality standards for incoming materials and components.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate and maintain the quality of external partners.
  
  
  

Issue Resolution and Root Cause Analysis

• Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, customer complaints, and non-conformities, ensuring timely resolution and preventive measures.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify the underlying factors contributing to quality deviations and implement corrective actions.
  
  
  

Data Analysis and Reporting

• Analyze quality data and trends to generate reports for management, highlighting areas of improvement and suggesting actionable insights.
  
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial management, Quality Management or a related field.
• 5+ years experience in manufacturing including quality management related experience. Progressive experience in manufacturing roles, including leadership and Specialist ial positions.
• 4+ years of proven experience in quality control
• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Experience in ISO 9001 prefered
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations (e.g., ISO standards, FDA regulations)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
• Problem-solving orientation with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in ERP software.
• Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and CRM software.
