A day in the life of this role: Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Quality Manager will lead, manage, and facilitate initiatives and objectives aligned with the OCHS quality program and strategic objectives to improve health outcomes related to process improvement measures. The manager will apply analytical skills in support of improving performance metrics of organizational goals. Essential Functions: * Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the quality assessment and performance improvement program for all OCHS services. * Assure compliance with quality standards through staff education, ongoing monitoring, and committee activities. * Implements and monitors the Quality Plan consistent with board approved plans and regulatory and standard setting agencies. * Communicating analysis and interpretation to appropriate audiences. * Focuses on educating and coordinating efforts for the organization. * Participates in corporate quality improvement initiatives. * Researches and recommends implementation of "evidence-based" performance measures. * Ensures effective processes to concurrently track quality initiatives and provide timely feedback of specific outcomes. * Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. * Coordinate the integration of a "dashboard" for clinical outcomes, critical interventions, cost, utilization, and satisfaction. * Generate regularly scheduled, as well as ad hoc reports to support all aspects of quality operations across the organization. * Drafting, reviewing and approving program work plans and budgets, analyzing data, conducting comprehensive site visits. * Other related duties and projects as assigned Qualifications Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics or Informatics, Business, Health Administration, Public Health or related field * 2+ years advanced proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems (MS Project, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio) * 2+ years of experience integrating data from large relational databases * 6+ months of performing data analysis and report development * Working knowledge reporting tools * Healthcare industry experience * HEDIS/UDS data collection/reporting/analysis * Preferred Qualifications, Education, and Experience * Knowledge of clinical service level benchmark standards * Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, organizational abilities, computer experience, and the ability to work within a collaborative team setting. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills - bi-lingual helpful * Proficiency in computer skills including EPIC, Outlook, Microsoft office, OneDrive etc. * Excellent judgment and ability to solve problems in a timely manner. * Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality standards. * Demonstrated ability to work effectively both as a team member and independently. * Demonstrated ability to work in a culturally diverse and inclusive environment AAP/EEOC Statement Outer Cape Health Services is committed to providing equal employment opportunity in all our employment programs and decisions.
