Quality Engineer required to join a specialist manufacturer and solutions provider in the Coventry area.

A solid background in root cause analysis and a working knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards is essential for this role, and previous experience in valves, manifolds, hydraulics, power units, or similar mechanical components would be highly advantageous.

The Role:

As a Quality Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of quality assurance operations, empowered to stop production when safety or quality is compromised. Your responsibilities will include:

• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) activity.
• Collaborate on process improvements and lean implementation.
• Leading root-cause analysis and corrective actions processes (8D, 5 why, Ishikawa).
• Ensuring compliance to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Conduct quality internal audits.

Requirements:

• A relevant qualification such as a Degree, HND, or BTEC Level 5 (or equivalent experience).
• Practical experience in root cause analysis methodologies, including 8D.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Experience in hydraulics is preferred, although not essential.
