Summary

Job type: Full time Reports to: Quality Engineer General Description / Language to Use for Job Postings: MK Fluidic Systems is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer. As a team member of the Quality Assurance department the Engineer will ensure compliance to existing procedures and regulations through document review, audits and facilitation of risk, data and root cause analysis. Responsibilities: Includes the following: (Other duties may be assigned) Creates methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of manufacturing processes, products and production equipment Ensure processes adhere to quality standard by collecting and reviewing data Assist with internal and external audits of the quality management system and company processes Identifies, documents and segregates (where applicable) nonconforming products Makes nonconforming product disposition decisions along with the Manufacturing Supervisor Assist in the implementation and verification of NCRs and CAPAs Perform in-house calibration and maintain records of calibration Work with production personnel to analyze and verify the capability of production processes and vendors’ parts/services Analyzes production limitations and problems and facilitates root cause analysis Performs such individual assignments as supervisors and superiors may direct Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent experience Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and Word Experience with ERP/MRP systems Possess knowledge and hands-on experience with ISO quality system standards (ISO 9001, 13485) Experience with NCR’s, Bill of Materials, blueprints/specs, purchasing contracts, and inventory control systems Able to read and understand engineering design drawings, technical plans and reports Experience with the use and calibration of mechanical measuring tools. This includes calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauge blocks, plug gauges, thread gauges, ring gauges, air gauges, and optical comparators. Experience with Keyence inspection systems is a plus. Ability to organize prioritize tasks to meet deadlines Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees. Ability to interpret data, perpare and write reports. Mathematical Skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Training Ability Must have expert job task skills for all the duties assigned to the department. Must be able to train subordinate employees on completing assigned tasks. Training includes evaluation of an employee’s performance to assure the employee can be expected to produce quality products. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand, reach, and lift. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.Responsibilities: - Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures - Conduct analysis of production data to identify areas for improvement - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues - Lead and participate in project management activities related to quality improvement initiatives - Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions - Monitor and evaluate product quality throughout the manufacturing process - Develop and maintain quality documentation, including inspection procedures and work instructions - Provide training and support to employees on quality control processes Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field - Proven experience in quality engineering or a similar role - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends - Knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001) - Proficient in project management techniques and tools - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Quality Engineer to join our team.
