Due to an upcoming retirement, Steere is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer specializing in Metrology to support our product and process quality initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to operate state-of-the-art metrology equipment, including our new CMM and Profilometer, and contribute to customer-focused quality processes.

Responsibilities:

·        Developing, implementing, and maintaining our internal product and process quality systems.

·        Providing metrology support for Customer APQP and PPAP activities.

·        Performing dimensional verification of products using various metrology methods.

·        Operating our new CMM and Profilometer.

·        Analyzing dimensional data and generating quality reports.

·        Identifying and implementing solutions for quality issues and process improvements.

Qualifications:

·        3-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer within the automotive or manufacturing industry.

·        Proven experience operating a CMM and Profilometer highly preferred.

·        Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

·        Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.

·        Good communication skills.
