Summary

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of the quality assurance department supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a methodical approach to work which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Durham, Connecticut

What's the Job?

  • Develop and implement quality procedures, instructions, and analysis of quality records.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and lead discussions on quality-related projects.
  • Analyze and optimize the impact of new quality plans on inspection resources and productivity.
  • Manage quality-related projects according to documented procedures to ensure project scope and product requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with coworkers to identify and resolve supplier quality issues effectively.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in a related field and two to four years of experience; or an Associate’s degree (A.S.) with a minimum of five years of related experience.
  • Experience with gauging, methods/design, and geometric tolerance.
  • Strong knowledge of documentation design and control.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and judgment skills.
