About Your New Job

As a Quality Engineer, you will:

  • Work closely with the project team to develop and check fabrication drawings and ensure alignment with client specifications and project requirements.
  • Perform design reviews in collaboration with internal stakeholders and clients, supporting project delivery from conception to commissioning.
  • Be responsible for preparing and reviewing project engineering deliverables, including technical documentation, design qualifications (DQ/IQ/OQ), and final handovers.
  • Travel occasionally to client locations to support on-site quality checks, commissioning, and client engagement.
  • Oversee project quality control, contribute to health & safety compliance, and assist in resolving technical challenges during the fabrication process.


What Skills You Need

  • A degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification (Mechanical or Manufacturing preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical fabrication, especially designing carbon steel and stainless steel structures or access platforms.
  • Proficiency in TEKLA Structures and/or SolidWorks (experience with FEA tools is an advantage).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a project team.
