Summary

Responsibilities

  • Identify and design new test cases on a continuous basis and program them.
  • Writing test plans and creating test cases.
  • Preparation for the execution of the tests, including Test scripts/Business processes/System setup.
  • Test data setup for both positive and negative test cases before execution of the tests.
  • Execution of the tests that have been planned in line with the relevant processes that have been defined.
  • Convert Test cases into Test scripts using the Test Automation framework.
  • Preparation of test reports and submitting and sign-off on the quality of the component owned.
  • Working closely with the development team and taking initiatives to continuously improve knowledge of products/functionalities in the project.
  • Follow the basic processes defined relevant for the work domain.

Requirements

  • Working experience in Automation tools like Selenium / TestNG / Cucumber is a must.
  • Deep knowledge of best practices regarding system security measures and verify it during the testing process.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and highlight the real issue to the development team.
  • Adhere to schedules, processes, and standards for Testing.
  • Good to have : Knowledge in Product Testing.
  • Good understanding of Software development life cycle and testing methodologies with good problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in working with Agile/scrum methodology process and test management tools like JIRA.

Technology Skills

  • API Testing using Tools like Jmeter, SOAPUI, Postman.
  • Selenium with Java.
  • Working knowledge of RDBMS like MySQL, Oracle, etc.
  • Good to have: Knowledge in Python, Tosca Automation tool, etc.
