Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Test Specialist at IBM, your technical skills will directly impact the quality of the software we create, and your recommendations and findings will help us make sure we're delivering the best of the best. Come work in an agile environment where you will help each iteration reach the next level. Whether the testing is manual, automated, or cognitive, you hold a key role in releasing the best deliverables to our clients and IBM alike. In your role you may be responsible for:

• Building automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Protractor, Katalon, Cucumber, etc.
• Create test data and test environments
• Write and execute test scripts under the direction of a senior tester and test lead and identify errors and validate successes for any software solution
• Identify, understand, and document all programming errors and operational characteristics that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specification goals for the given program, application or set of applications
• Do a deep-dive and present test results to clients and project teams clearly
  
  

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

Experience in API Automation testing.

Experience developing automation solution using Selenium, Appium, Katalon

Practical Knowledge of automation testing tools like TOSCA /UFT /Soap UI.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Containers with knowledge in setting up Automation suites in CI/CD environments Provide strategic directions to the team on automation solutions.

Create/Assist in implementing Process, Best Practices related to Test Automation.

Development /scripting skills in common programming languages which are compatible for Selenium WebDriver such as Java/C#/Python Experience in automation of web bases Applications.

Experience in mobile testing automation.

Good Knowledge in using Version control Management tools such as Bitbucket, Git and the Code review process.
