ISC’s team of Manufacturing Recruiters is partnering with an U.S based metal manufacturer providing metal stamping, metal fabrication, machining, and assembly seeking a Quality Engineer.

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer preferably with Aeronautical Manufacturing experience with expertise in AS9100 and APQP for machined, stamped, and fabricated products to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for contract review, quality planning and execution, supplier development, and auditing while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Quality Engineer Mandatory Qualifications:

• 5+ years minimum in Aerospace
• Metal working quality experience, machined & fabricated products
• Plug & Play – Self Driven
• STRONG - AS9100 and regulatory industry knowledge-strong
• APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and FAI processes experience
• GD&T, blueprint reading and interpretation of industry specs-proficiency
• Audits, quality management tools

Quality Engineer Preferred Requirements;

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification
• CMM Programming and metrology software experience
• Aerospace materials, processes and mnf techniques experience
• Ability to travel for supplier audits and activities
