The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our quality standards throughout the production process, from raw material inspection to final product evaluation. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of garment manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: Quality Standards Implementation: Establish and maintain quality standards for each department and process, ensuring alignment with buyer requirements and industry best practices. Pre-Production Oversight: Audit incoming fabrics and trims to ensure only quality materials are accepted. Participate in product development and sampling stages, addressing quality aspects of samples. Ensure no faulty fabric is sent for cutting; mark minor defects and communicate with the cutting department. Prepare audit reports on fabric and trim quality. Conduct pre-production meetings to align teams on quality expectations. Production Monitoring: Perform in-line and end-of-line inspections in the sewing department. Conduct inspections and audits in the finishing department. Audit packed goods before presenting them to buyer quality assurance. Analyse quality reports and develop improvement plans. Ensure the final garments meet quality standards through systematic audits. Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Design, Apparel Production, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control within the garment manufacturing industry. Thorough understanding of fabrics, textile production, clothing construction techniques, and quality control standards. Skills: Keen attention to detail to identify defects and inconsistencies. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with various departments. Proficiency in using quality control instruments and software.
