Quality Control Technician – 2nd Shift – Baltimore, MD

$16 - $22 per hour

US Citizens and Green card holders only

My client, a leader in food production, seeks a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join their fast-paced team.

Responsibilities:

• Follow GMP, quality, and safety practices
• Test product temperatures during production
• Visually inspect products and packaging for quality, dates, codes, seals, and gas mixtures
• Verify product net weight
• Ensure compliance with GMPs and HACCP critical control points
• Record data on food tags and review HACCP records
• Collaborate with supervisors on findings

Qualifications:

• High school diploma (college degree preferred)
• Quality control/assurance experience preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA/USDA regulations a plus
• Food/meat production experience or education preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a cold environment (~30°F) and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong eye-hand coordination, dexterity, and vision/hearing

Requirements:

• Work in a safety-sensitive position
• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and stair climbing
• Exposure to machines, chemicals, and solvents
