Position Overview

The Quality Control Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality standards of products and services within the organization. This role involves developing quality control processes, conducting inspections, and collaborating with various departments to maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present quality reports and data analysis to management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
  • Train and mentor staff on quality control best practices and procedures, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Quality Control Manager or in a similar role, preferably within a federal or military context.
  • Knowledge of EM 385 standards and quality control methodologies.
  • Familiarity with construction quality management (CQM) processes and regulations.
  • Experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD), Army, or US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is highly desirable.
