Position Summary The Quality Control Manager ensures all products that are produced from our internal production & partnerships meet CS quality standards. There are high expectations that should be met while exceeding the KPIs set for the department. The individual in this role plans, organizes, assigns, and directs all quality assurance department operations and communicates directly with the supply chain partnerships and internal staff accordingly. Culture Studio Job Description POSITION KPI: 1. - 1% quality rating TOP PRIORITIES: 1. Quality: Be the final eye of ensuring quality 2. Wash Test/Curing 3. Samples Duties & Responsibilities Samples Start Ensures Belt QC members have the approved and correct physical sample to match before print run starts Samples Finish Ensure all samples get returned and categorized correctly after print run. Catch QC Issues Ensure all quality-related issues are caught and addressed in house and with supply chain Production Forms Monitor that all correlating forms from internal production are completed and filled out accordingly 3% Accountability Form Ensure all 3% forms and training write ups are documented and completed every time 3% Accountability Communicate with Act. Managers and Production manager via Slack channel on any Slack reports of 3% or over. Team Member Record team member quality performance per job in their logs. Performance QC Audit sheet Ensure all jobs are completed with the QC audit sheet for client review and looking back Analyzation Conduct Root-Cause Analysis on quality issues that arise and communicate these issues with Production Manager Discussions Discuss quality-related issues with the appropriate parties to determine a plan of action to prevent the issues from an ongoing occurrence QC inspection Directs quality inspection of screen printed or digitally imaged products to verify conformance to quality specifications. Culture Studio Job Description QC Standards Reviews and implements strong quality standard that go hand in hand with Culture Studio’s Core Values Reviews Reports Reviews QC assurance reports and resolves issues to ensure minimum costs and operational delays Company Policies Interprets and enforces company policies and safety regulations Wash Test Responsible for performing wash tests on ALL Digital jobs 24hrs after printing and recording all data Dryer Checks Responsible for dryer spot checks and curing of ink Housekeeping Responsible for enforcing clean housekeeping and CSS Standards Motivation Initiates or suggests plans to motivate teams to achieve work goals while producing quality work Qualifications/Skills To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience At least 2 years of screen printing and/or digital imaging quality management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong skills in work planning, scheduling and must have good judgment of color, design, and printing quality. Language & Mathematical skills ● Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to eectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and employees. ● Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions of practical situations to printing jobs. Reasoning Ability Culture Studio Job Description Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
