Quality Control Inspector - Fabricated Metal Products
- This is an early morning shift - 5am - 1:30pm Mon-Fri PST. Must be able to work this shift.
Position Overview
Based in north Whittier, CA, we are a leading manufacturer of HVAC equipment. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet both internal and external quality standards. This role involves meticulous inspection, testing, and documentation processes to guarantee compliance with safety regulations and ISO standards, contributing to the continuous improvement of our product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct testing and evaluate products using measurement tools and techniques to assess quality and functionality.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of inspections, tests, and compliance reports.
- Identify areas for improvement in the manufacturing process and collaborate with teams to implement solutions.
- Analyze data related to quality control metrics and present findings to management for decision-making purposes.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations throughout the quality control process.
- Support the development and implementation of quality control policies and procedures,
Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar role.
- Must have experience reading blue prints, drawings, sketches, dimensions.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO standards and quality control methodologies.
- Proficient in the use of measurement tools and data analysis techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits
Pay rate: $22-$26 DOE - open for the right candidate
