EHC is currently looking for a Quality Control Inspector for a client in the Pearland, TX area. Hours: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm Job Summary: We are seeking an Entry Level Inspector to join our team. You will conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. Responsibilities: Daily use of Positive Material Identification analyzers both XRF and OES models Following the radiation safety requirements for XRF and OES units. Daily use and care of measuring equipment consisting of calipers, micrometers, tap measure, height gage and NPT threaded gages Daily inspection on inbound and outbound material Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products Implement and improve quality control operating procedures Participate in routine visual inspections Maintain a clean and safe work environment Ability to enter data into report Qualifications: At least 6 months experience Knowledge of stainless-steel specifications preferred Experience with fittings flanges pipe preferred Forklift experience Must be able to do simple math Ability to interpret technical product specs Strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Computer proficiency Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (SharePoint a plus) Non-climate-controlled facility Safety boots and PPE required at all times Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Schedule: 10 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekends as needed Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: positive material identification both XRF and OES models: 1 year (Required) Precision measuring instruments: 1 year (Required) visual inspection: 1 year (Required) stainless-steel specifications: 1 year (Preferred) Blueprint reading: 1 year (Required) Forklift: 1 year (Required) Language: Spanish (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Pearland, TX 77581 (Required) Work Location: In person
