Job Summary

Quality Control Engineer needed for immediate contract-to-hire opportunity in East Hartford, CT! This role is ideal for a professional with 3+ years in quality control, someone familiar with Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001 and AS9100. The ideal candidate will hold an active or recent IPC 610 and IPC 620 certification and bring a commitment to ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards. In this position, you will conduct product inspections, maintain and improve quality control processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues. You will also be responsible for maintaining documentation, and staying current with industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements
  • Use test equipment to evaluate product quality and functionality
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures
  • Maintain quality control documentation and records
  • Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns
  • Train team members on quality control procedures
  • Monitor industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance
