Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Manager – Quality Control to oversee quality standards and ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and client requirements. The candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance plans and conducting inspections and audits throughout the construction lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor the Quality Control Plan for the project.
  • Establish quality benchmarks and inspection test plans (ITPs) in line with contract specifications.
  • Conduct routine quality inspections and audits at various stages of construction.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and third-party agencies for quality inspections and approvals.
  • Maintain all quality documentation including test records, NCRs, and QA/QC reports.
  • Identify deviations or non-conformities and initiate corrective/preventive actions.
  • Guide site engineers and subcontractors in quality compliance and workmanship standards.
  • Support in material approval processes and laboratory testing.
  • Train and develop site teams on quality procedures and best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in construction projects (preferably commercial or infrastructure).
  • Sound understanding of quality standards like ISO 9001, IS codes, and relevant testing procedures.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills.


Key Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality standards
  • Familiarity with ISO quality systems, NABL, and lab test methods
  • Eye for detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Hands-on with quality reporting tools and formats
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor quality teams on-site
  • Working knowledge of relevant IS codes and QA/QC documentation
