Key Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements, and monitors quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• Performs and documents inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Analyzes test results and works with production teams to resolve quality issues.
• Investigates and reports non-conformities; initiates corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Reviews engineering drawings and specifications for quality compliance.
• Supports ISO and other quality system certifications, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Trains operators and technicians on quality standards and best practices.
• Maintains accurate records of inspections, test results, and other quality documents.
• Collaborates with suppliers to ensure incoming material quality.
• Suggests process improvements to reduce defects and enhance product reliability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field.
• 3 – 5 years in quality control, preferably in steel fabrication, structural steel, or heavy manufacturing industries.
• Experience with inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and welding inspections.
• Knowledge of steel manufacturing processes and quality inspection techniques.
• Familiar with mechanical and non-destructive testing methods.
• Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001 or similar) is a must.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with a proactive mindset.
• Willing to work on-site in a factory environment.
