Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Verify incoming software components, libraries, APIs, and system integrations against specifications and maintain detailed IQC logs.
  • Identify, flag, and report any deviations or vulnerabilities to development teams and relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough testing (functional, integration, unit) during the software development lifecycle.
  • Perform code reviews and analyze test results to identify potential defects and ensure adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with development and testing teams to identify root causes of errors and contribute to process improvements.
  • Perform comprehensive functional, performance, usability, and security testing before software releases and deployments.
  • Ensure all quality checks are completed, and release criteria are met according to established standards and customer requirements.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of test reports and release checklists.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all inspection activities, defect logs, test results, and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) reports.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of quality assurance documentation, including test plans, test cases, and quality standards.
  • Assist with ISO or other relevant compliance audits and documentation :
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2-5 years) in IT Quality Control, Software Quality Assurance, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Experience with various testing types (functional, integration, system, regression, performance, usability, security).
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycles and processes.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and requirements.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with development and other teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant quality standards and compliance Skills :
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools.
  • Basic understanding of security testing principles
