The Quality Control Officer for the tailoring/embroidery department is responsible for ensuring that all garments meet the company's quality standards and customer specifications. This role involves monitoring and inspecting production processes, identifying defects, implementing corrective actions, and collaborating with the tailoring team to maintain high-quality production standards.

Requirements


Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and inspect garment production to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identify defects in the tailoring and embroidery processes and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the tailoring team to ensure consistent high-quality output.
• Review and understand client technical packs to ensure production alignment with customer requirements.
• Conduct regular checks and assessments of sewing machines and ensure they are functioning optimally.
• Maintain quality control procedures, ensuring all products meet the company's specifications and customer expectations.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in quality control within the tailoring/apparel manufacturing industry.
• Experience working with a variety of fabrics and garments, including knits, wovens, camellia, and feathers.
• Ability to read and understand client technical packs.
• Strong technical knowledge in pattern making.
• Familiarity with sewing machines and their functions.
• Knowledge of quality control tools is an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
