Job Description Primary Function of Position: The Business Intelligence Analyst will play an integral role as part of the Product Quality team by combining data analysis and visualization with project management support for engineering, operations and process improvement teams. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Quality managers to implement high-quality, data-driven conclusions. They will leverage advanced analytical techniques to interpret key findings from company data and translate these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes. They will also apply project management fundamentals to ensure timely delivery of strategic initiatives. The right person for the job will apply their extensive knowledge of data analysis to solving real-world problems faced by our company and finding opportunities for improvement across multiple projects, teams and business units. Roles & Responsibilities: * Establish a deep understanding of and partnership with assigned business functions; * Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modeling, visualization and communication of deliverables; * Use business data & statistical methods to provide insight into business performance and suggest areas and methods of improving operations; * Present insights and recommendations to management for decision making and strategic planning; * Support project planning and tracking activities including requirement gathering, prioritization, documentation and communication; * Monitor project progress and help mitigate project risks and roadblocks; * Drive successful completion of initiatives through effective collaboration with stakeholders; * Partner with architecture and solution delivery teams to enable reports that maintain long-term value; * Assist in developing data and project governance and standards; * Drive continuous improvement of organization reporting and business processes Qualifications Skills, Experience, Education, & Training: * Bachelor's degree required in quantitative field; Master's / MBA preferred; * 2+ years of experience in a highly statistical role; * Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and partner cross-functionally at all levels of the organization; * Working knowledge of data mining methods: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources; * Proven SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries; * Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units; * Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform conclusions; * Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes; * Effective problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities; * Sound ability to plan and manage numerous processes and projects simultaneously; * Curiosity with a desire for continuous improvement; Additional Information Due to the nature of our business and the role, please note that Intuitive and/or your customer(s) may require that you show current proof of vaccination against certain diseases including COVID-19.
