A National Healthcare Organization is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Quality Assurance/Risk Analyst to join its Los Angeles Team. This position is a vital role focused on managing insurance programs and driving key risk management initiatives within a dynamic healthcare environment. This opportunity positions you to work closely with cross-functional teams to safeguard organizational assets and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations while contributing to a collaborative and mission-driven workplace.
- Key Responsibilities:Insurance Operations Oversight: Manage daily insurance operations, including issuing policies, coordinating binder management, and monitoring exposures critical to insurance requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance brokers, consultants, and key stakeholders to ensure comprehensive and reliable coverage strategies.
- Policy Renewal and Strategy Development: Lead the development and execution of renewal strategies while addressing coverage issues and ensuring timely application submissions.
- Documentation Management: Oversee the preparation, review, and accuracy of insurance policies, endorsements, and evidence of coverage documents.
- Policy and Procedure Implementation: Establish and enforce policies and procedures to enhance the effectiveness of insurance and risk management programs.
- Claims Management: Collaborate with the Risk Management team to process and resolve insurance claims efficiently and effectively.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the insurance budget to align with organizational financial objectives, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Evaluate insurance and claims data to provide insights that guide strategic decision-making and comprehensive reporting.
- Team Training: Coordinate and execute staff training sessions to promote awareness of risk management and compliance best practices.
- Committee Facilitation: Organize and facilitate Risk Management Committee meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and tracking actionable follow-ups.
