Key Responsibilities

Quality Inspections

• PerforminspectionsinaccordancewithISO9001standards.
• Conduct first and last piece inspections.
• Perform in-process inspections.
• Maintainaconsistentpresenceontheproductionfloortoensurequalityadherence.
• Determine if materials should be scrapped or if rework is feasible.
• Identifyopportunitiesforimprovementandimplementchangestoenhanceproductquality and reduce costs.
• Manageandmonitortheperformanceofqualitycontrolsystemstoensureefficiencyand effectiveness.
• Evaluate the quality of materials or products and provide technical or procedural guidance to customers.
• During downtime inspect
  
  

Machine Operating

• Responsibleforfabricatingandassemblingvariousmetalproductsusingtools,machines and hand strength
• Readandinterpretmeasurementsandblueprintssketchesandassemblyinstructions
• Observemachineoperationtodetectworkpiecedefectsormachinemalfunctions
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, or rust form work piece
• Report to shift supervisor or additional responsibilities
  
  

Documentation and Reporting

• Complete quality control forms in accordance with company procedures.
• Communicate and share information with supervisors and coworkers.
  
  

Housekeeping Additional Responsibilities

• Keep the non-conformance area clean and organized.
• Assist with ISO audit procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
• Overtime is occasional on Fridays.
  
  

Average split is about 80% Machine Operating and 20% Quality Inspection

Qualifications And Skills

• Knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling, production equipment, assembly methods, and product design.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
