Your Role Within The Team

  • Planning, performing and documenting surveillance activities on a Supplier by verifying and witnessing their fabrication, inspection and testing and reviewing supporting documentation and records to ensure that specified requirements are met and maintained.
  • Review of supplier documents and procedures per the assigned Purchase Orders (PO).
  • Generate and submit for filing all the records related to the quality surveillance activities (Significant correspondence, QS Plans, QS Records, etc.).
  • Performing supplier audits and assessments as assigned by Procurement QA Manager.

The Ideal Candidate

  • University bachelor’s degree in engineering, with experience in the nuclear field.
  • Minimum of 5 years practical working experience in a relevant engineering field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of procedures, processes, equipment and techniques.
  • Advanced computing skills and functionality with standard Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Good knowledge to write procedures and review documents on a technical level.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage several tasks and assignments concurrently and works well under deadline pressures.
  • Strong organizational skills, work planning skills, and the ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities required to tackle a wide range of unique problems.
  • Strong verbal and written skills in order to interact with internal staff, external stakeholders and maintain effectiveness in interpersonal relationships.
