Job Description
You will stay updated on the latest trends in the internet world and collaborate closely with R&D teams to deliver high-quality features for networking, security, and data center products, ensuring they are maintained throughout their lifecycle. You will be responsible for defining the test strategy, developing code in languages such as Python, TCL, and Go, and fully testing all aspects of assigned features from requirements discussions to test case automation, culminating in the final product release. With strong expertise in specific areas of the 7x50 product range, you will serve as a go-to person for troubleshooting and decision-making, including providing the final Go/No-Go decision before software release.

The IP Routing and Packet Core team is looking for a QA Engineer to define, program automated tests and drive test strategy(s) for cutting edge IP/Mobile features for the 7x50 range of products.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- You follow up on the evolutions of the internet world
- You collaborate with the R&D teams to deliver your feature with exceptional quality to the field and you maintain it during its lifetime
- You fully tests all aspects of the features assigned to you. This goes from participating in the requirements discussions, creating the test plan, conducting and automating all test cases until final delivery of the feature and product
- You will define test strategy
- You will develop a code (in python, TCL, go other scripting languages) to qualify our Networking, Security and Data Center products
- You will have the final Go/No Go decision before a software release
- You will become an expert (go-to-person) for a number of specific areas (involving features) and gets a good overview of all functionalities of the 7x50 range of products
- Interaction / Work Environment
