JOB PURPOSE (Overall Objective)

To ensure the quality, safety, and performance of robotics and automation systems, including embedded software and AI-driven solutions, through comprehensive testing and validation processes.

JOB PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES and JOB CONTENT

1. Develop and execute test plans for robotic systems, vision algorithms, and automation components.
2. Perform functional and safety validation in compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 13849).
3. Validate AI/ML models for real-time defect detection and predictive maintenance.
4. Test sensor and actuator integrations for signal reliability and firmware accuracy.
5. Automate regression and performance tests using frameworks like Pytest or Robot Framework.
6. Design CI/CD test pipelines for reproducible and scalable testing environments.
7. Conduct latency and throughput validation for edge AI models.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and testing.
9. Prepare traceable test reports aligned with ISO/AIAG standards.
10. Identify and resolve hardware-software integration issues through root cause analysis.

B. QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

2. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics/Computer Science/Mechanical) or a related field.
3. Experience:
4. Proven experience in QA/QC testing for robotics, automation, or industrial systems.
5. Skills:
6. Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Robot Framework).
7. Strong understanding of industrial automation and robotic systems.
8. Knowledge of AI/ML and computer vision testing techniques.
9. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker).
• Experience with edge deployment tools and systems (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi).
• Competence in protocols like MQTT, OPC UA, and Modbus TCP.
