We are looking for a detail-oriented quality assurance manager to ensure our finished product consistently delivers premium quality for our customers. The quality assurance manager understands the customer's needs and requirements and coordinates employee efforts and communications between management and the production teams.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication and listening skills, with strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality standards and procedures.
  • Monitor production accuracy and consistency by analyzing QC data and defect rates.
  • Oversee and enforce SOPs for identifying, tracking, and resolving quality issues.
  • Lead in the recruitment, training, and development of QA staff.
  • Gain an understanding of the client's needs and requirements, and communicate them and the quality standards to the production teams.
  • Devise ways to improve the production process to minimize quality issues.
  • Devising, improving, and reviewing new specifications and procedures for products or processes, and training staff to use them.
  • Create and maintain detailed quality reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement
  • Review processes in order to ensure that they align with current trends.
  • Inspecting the final output, comparing it to the requirements, and approving or rejecting the final products.
  • Work closely across departments to communicate root cause issues and develop a strategy for resolution.
  • Work closely with leadership to identify systemic issues, recommend improvements, and develop resolution strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT to enhance tracking and reporting tools for real-time quality monitoring

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in quality assurance, production, or a related field.
  • 3+ Years in a Quality Assurance role, preferably in a production, manufacturing, or collectibles environment, with experience in building metrics and reports.
  • Ability to analyze data, create reports, and optimize workflows.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, observation, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present insights effectively.
  • Proficiency in QA reporting tools, data visualization, and process optimization.
  • Willingness to collaborate across departments to improve efficiency and ensure product integrity.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with the collectibles industry is a plus.
  • Standing for four hours a day or longer
  • Exposure to loud sounds from equipment
