In this role you will be accountable for our Quality vision and strategy.
You contribute to the creation of a Quality culture which is founded on active leadership, associate participation, and continuous improvement. Together with your team you will implement and monitor the Global QMS (Quality Management Systems) standards, ensure regulatory compliance and eliminate process food safety events.
As QA Manager you will manage a team with 30 people and report to the QESH Manager. This important role serves to manage and have an aspired level of quality within the company.
As QA Manager you will be responsible for:
Ensuring Canpack Netherlands (CPNL) is compliant with Dutch legislation on Quality matters and make sure legislative changes are communicated and reflected in CP NL’s policies and procedures.
The integration of CP Policies and IMS procedures of systems, BRC Packaging, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001 (Quality, Safety Environmental, Energy and sustainability aspects) and any other client’s specifications requirements.
Overseeing the daily quality assurance activities of the plant.
Making sure that all semi-finished and finished products are manufactured according to the set standards and conforming to the customer requirements.
Lead QA projects and serve as the primary coordinator on these to the senior leadership
Support the Claims Quality Assurance Program along with CTS and the Operations team in developing and implementing quality improvement strategies.
Maintain and develop quality function documentation such as forms, instructions, and training guides, and also the records for SQF and ISO compliance in accordance with record retention policies & requirements.
For this position you have the following Knowledge and Skills:
Master-degree in a Quality relevant discipline
Specific knowledge of beverage requirements for the Netherlands
Knowledge of ISO/BRC standards, HACCP principles and health & safety regulations.
Management experience
Excellent communication skills
Troubleshooting and problem solving
Self-motivated and able to grasp new concepts and learn quickly as well as motivate others. ▪
