Seeking a Quality Assurance Lab Technician to help ensure our products meet exacting customer standards. If you love solving problems, digging into data, and working with cutting-edge lab equipment, this is the opportunity for you.

This is not your average “inspection” job. Combination of quality, part lab science, and part process optimization.

What’s In It for You?

  • Starting at $20+/hour – and more depending on your experience
  • Annual performance-based bonuses – and yes, they’re actually good
  • Weekly pay – because predictable income matters
  • Full-time schedule with consistent hours (no scheduling chaos)
  • Room to grow – move up, build your skills, and grow your career in the trades or lab sciences

Summary: As a Quality Assurance Lab Technician, you’ll be the critical link between production and performance. You’ll make sure our aluminum billet products meet customer specs, run lab tests, and help improve processes across the board.

  • Operate precision lab equipment (spectrometers, optical microscopes, CNC machines)
  • Prepare and analyze test samples to ensure chemical composition and performance standards are met
  • Support Production and Metallurgy teams with real-time test results and process data
  • Keep documentation tight – from test records to ISO compliance tracking (9001, 14001, 45001)
  • Train others on lab procedures and equipment usage

Qualifications: Seeking a hands-on, mechanically minded team player who thrives in a dynamic, industrial setting. Whether you're bringing direct lab experience or a strong willingness to learn, we want someone who takes pride in precision and quality.

  • Detail-oriented and science-minded – you notice the small things and ask good questions
  • High School Diploma or GED required; a BS in Engineering or a related technical field is a big plus. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate lab and shop equipment confidently
  • Comfortable working in a production environment – this is not a desk job
  • Organized, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Previous experience with spectrometers, microscopes, or CNC equipment?
  • Bilingual English/Spanish? Double gold star.
