Position Overview
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes and teams to ensure that products meet the established quality standards. This role involves coordinating testing efforts, managing the QA team, and implementing best practices in testing to enhance product quality and performance throughout the production line for metal products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the quality assurance team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct performance testing to ensure applications meet performance benchmarks and standards.
- Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QA processes and product quality.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulatory requirements and industry standards in all QA activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Experience with test planning, test case design, and defect tracking.
- Experience in performance testing and tools used for such testing.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Salary - $90,000 - $110,000
