Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA professionals, fostering growth and success.
  • Guide the team through issue resolution, identifying critical production blockers using Scrum methodologies.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to the test team.
  • Manage testing resources, ensuring team motivation and tracking progress of testing tasks.
  • Quality Assurance Strategy:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with business goals, incorporating industry best practices and standards.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Continuously assess and enhance QA processes, methodologies, and tools to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
  • Quality Metrics:
  • Define, monitor, and report on key quality metrics and KPIs to evaluate QA effectiveness and ensure accountability.
  • Oversee testing across all disciplines, including performance and reliability.
  • Create and maintain a Project Test Strategy Plan.
  • Align testing activities across software, hardware, and third-party components.
  • Track testing progress, select appropriate testing tools, and plan test environments.
  • Ensure effective resource planning and management for testing.
  • Evaluate the progress and impact of testing efforts.
  • Collaboration:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and customer support, to foster a collaborative quality-focused culture.
  • Work closely with software architects and product owners to define testing scope based on product design and requirements.
  • Customer Satisfaction:
  • Advocate for a customer-centric quality approach, ensuring products meet customer needs and stakeholder expectations.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or related); advanced degree preferred.
  2. 11-13 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  3. Proven success in developing and implementing QA strategies, processes, and methodologies.
  4. Strong leadership and people management skills, with a passion for inspiring and motivating teams.
  5. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  6. Deep expertise in QA principles, practices, and tools, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
