Title: Quality Assurance Lab Technician

Location: Rosemount, MN

Job Type: FTE/Permanent

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate lab equipment such as spectrometers, optical microscopes, and CNC machines.
• Prepare and analyze test samples to verify chemical composition and product performance.
• Provide real-time lab results and process data to Production and Metallurgy teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including test records and compliance tracking (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
• Train team members on lab procedures and equipment usage.
• Ensure the lab is clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
• Prioritize safety, product traceability, and quality standards.
  
  

Who We're Looking For

• Hands-on and mechanically inclined with a strong attention to detail.
• Science-minded and inquisitive, with a proactive approach to work.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BS in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
• Previous experience with lab or shop equipment (spectrometers, microscopes, CNC) is a plus.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• BS in an Engineering discipline or experience in a quality testing lab.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and quality processes.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong organizational skills and mechanical aptitude.
  
  

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Ability to work in industrial settings with exposure to heat, noise, and heavy machinery.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and handling heavy equipment or samples.
  
  

Certifications & Training (Preferred But Not Required)

• Experience operating CNC machines, spectrometers, or optical microscopes.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
