Q Analysts is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer for one of its clients located in Seattle, Washington Job Description: * As QAEs you will apply your knowledge of software applications, software development, and quality assurance practices to ensure that clients developed at client Instant Video are of the highest quality, meet all target requirements, and produce a superior customer experience. * Your vision encompasses both driving development processes that minimize defect introduction, as well as creation and execution of testing regimens to uncover and troubleshoot defects that are present. Minimum Required Skills: * Requires a B.S. degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics. * Requires prior experience in QA testing or relevant engineering work experience. * Must be able to create test plans with guidance from more senior engineers. * Must have a basic knowledge of software architecture and the software development life cycle. * Must have a keen eye for video defects such as jitter, frame drop and color space issues. Preferred Required Skills: * 2 or more years of QA experience is preferred. * Background in video quality or video engineering preferred.
