We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Engineer to work for a business in Washington DC who have won a large number of projects and as a result, have created a new role in their manufacturing team.

This role would suit a candidate who has a strong background in electronics, ideally in the aerospace, defense, or space sectors, and has experience inspecting electronics assemblies to conform with aerospace / space standards.

This role is based on site in Reston, Virginia. The base salary for this role is in the region of $95,000 to $120,000, plus comprehensive health coverage, 401k, and profit share scheme.

Requirements:

• Inspection of electronic assemblies
• Inspection of electronics for non conformance
• Working on PCBA projects
• Knowledge of IPC-J-STD-001
• Knowledge of NASA-STD-8739
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610
• Good experience with general IPC electronic standards
• Knowledge of soldering and materials is beneficial, but is not required
