noon, the region's leading consumer commerce platform. On December 12th, 2017, noon launched its consumer platform in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, expanding to Egypt in February 2019. The noon ecosystem of services now includes marketplaces for food delivery, quick-commerce, fintech, and fashion. noon is a work in progress; we’re six years in, but only 5% done.

Job Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of experience writing automated tests using automation frameworks for automating API/web tools such as Selenium, TestNG, RestAssured, BDD etc.
• Good exposure in API Automation testing using any frameworks (Custom, RestAssured, etc.) and Web Automation using Selenium, BDD etc.
• Experience working on Java / Python and SQL.
• Must be good in API Tests.
• Hands-on experience with TestNG/RESTful frameworks.
• Experience in Test Automation framework development
• Experience setting up and using CI/CD pipelines would be a plus.
• Familiar with agile software development cycles and security testing.
• Strong technical and analytical skills, ability to understand complex systems and design tests around integration and interface points.
• Knowledge of general QA procedures and methodologies, as well as software development fundamentals.
• Experience in tools like Postman/ SoapUI Pro/Swagger.
• Experience in performance testing would be a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop automated test scripts to maximize efficiency
• Create maintain, and execute test specifications and test cases and increasing the test coverage will be the primary task.
• Writing and executing automated tests for new features.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on features and usability as accurately as possible and come up with possible test requirements.
• Identify test data requirements and generate required data to support testing.
• Completion of the tasks without creating a dependency.
