Quality Assurance Engineer What you will be doing * Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for using Java, Selenium, Cucumber, JavaScript/TypeScript, Appium, and related tools. * Assist with creating and maintaining test environments in Cloud and on-premises environments. * Analyze and study complex system requirements to create and execute detailed test plans. * Maintain up-to-date test documentation and contribute to test planning and estimation. * Analyze and clearly document test results; communicate testing status, risks, and coverage to stakeholders. * Participate in continuous improvement of testing strategies, tools, and processes. * Validate app behavior across different OS versions, device resolutions, and hardware configurations. * Perform automated and manual testing for each major and minor application revision. * Log, track, and retest defects in collaboration with developers and product managers. What you will need * Demonstrated experience developing automated tests for web applications using Selenium/Cucumber. * Demonstrated experience developing automated tests for mobile applications using the Appium framework. * Strong background in Java or another object-oriented programming language. * Experience with modern JavaScript based frameworks such as VueJS, AngularJS, ReactJS, etc. * An understanding, and preferably experience with, implementing solutions using web services in a Service Oriented Architecture, i.e., REST, XML enabled Web Services, WSDL, SOAP, etc. * Experience with microservices and associated technologies such as Dropwizard, Micronaut, Spring Boot, etc. * Experience with AWS. * Strong understanding of QA methodologies, lifecycle and processes. * Demonstrated experience with writing clean code quickly. * Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills and an ability to generate creative solutions to complex problems. * Ability to learn new technologies as required. * Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Agile Testing. * Experience with configuring and updating CI/CD pipelines.
